BREAKING: Pope Francis dies at 88, ending historic pontificate marked by mercy and reform
I'm shocked. I knew #PopeFrancis was sick, but, as recently as #EasterSunday, he was at apparently giving blessings after #Mass.
For the Non-Catholics I have here, I think now would be a good time to research how the #Pope is chosen. Avoid any #conspiracytheorist websites that say he wasn't really the #Pope.
As for Pope Francis, #Restinpeace. I am curious who the next Pope will be. Pope Francis was the first Pope born in the Americas, and the first #Jesuit pope.
I remember telling my friend Bill (God rest his soul), that the next pope, "will be American", after Benedict died, and I was right! (SOUTH American is a type of American)!
I'm not going to make any predictions for the next Pope. But, I pray that he serves God and his #Church, and brings the #Gospel to the whole world. Pope Francis was really good at telling people, not just to know the Gospel, but to LIVE it.
He was also a friend to #EasternCatholics, and celebrated the #UkrainianGreekCatholic #DivineLiturgy in #Argentina, and spoke #Ukrainian to some extent

Yeah, I'm not the most #Christmas oriented person. Maybe if we didn't start celebrating Christmas before it was even #Advent and also if we remembered that Christmas was more than one day, I wouldn't feel burned out on it by the time I got here. If I can avoid listening to #Christmasmusic before Christmas I do.

But this goes into why I think that is.
Somehow, the birth of the Saviour of the world, became this corporate holiday instead of this important season. Advent is not #Christmasseason. Christmas season is something separate.
Not so much a #Biblestudy for me today (Linus does that), but, more of a reflection on how annoyed I am by our extremely selfish corporate culture, the doesn't even want to call a holiday by its name. That we celebrate way too early. That should be one of my favorite times of year but is the one I'm actually most annoyed about. I hope everyone has a #MerryChristmas, but as for me, #bahhumbug!

So, the book is coming...
It has a title, I have an ISBN, and it's submitted for publication.
Publishing a #book is exciting, but, also, #frustrating. Unlike #RaymanLegends, which is #funstrating. Anyway, given the topic of the book, I thought I'd go ahead and make a video. It's recorded, but, I'll upload it on Friday, the 26th of #December. The second day of #Christmas. Or, as my calendars called it, #BoxingDay (Canada).
But, given that the book is based on secrecy, being caught up on something I had no control over, being in a position that I would never have willingly put myself in, I think this song is appropriate.
